Your Guide - Dave Jorgenson
With over 30 years of outdoor and wilderness experience, Dave gives you the wealth of his knowledge and the security and confidence of traveling with a guide who is completely at ease in the environment. In addition to guiding people on numerous canoe trips around the Bowron Lakes Chain, Dave has taken people around the Cariboo Mountains in all seasons. Besides his natural interest in the outdoors, Dave has an education in Outdoor Recreation and achieved high levels of certification as a canoe instructor, trip leader, rescue technician, backcountry ski instructor and wilderness first aid attendant.
"My personal passion, the natural environment, is supported by a broad collection of outdoor and safety skills, and fed by a strong knowledge base on subjects ranging from flora and fauna, animal tracking and photography, to history, geography, geology and climatology. It is tied to a sincere desire to share experience with others. It's this desire to illustrate and communicate the profound wonder of our natural environment that ideally suits me and my company to the guiding profession."

The Terrain - Bowron Lakes, Cariboo Mountains
The Cariboo country offers spectacular scenery and fascinating gold rush history. Trips include high alpine hikes on flower-strewn meadows, xc hut based ski tours, and exhilarating canoe trips on the Bowron Lake Chain.
With an experienced and knowledgeable guide you can choose a wide variety of adventures. Our crowning excursion is eight days on the Bowron Lake Circuit, ideally suited for both beginner and intermediate guided trips. Or choose our faster full circuit trip, four days on the west side of the chain, or even one-day canoe trips. Hikes include four, three, one and half-day trips through alpine flowers, to abandoned gold towns or through magnificent sub-alpine forest.
